We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at JAQUITH INDUSTRIES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines, including HAAS and Doosan, to produce high-quality parts.
- Develop and implement efficient production processes, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines and equipment.
- Train and assist other operators as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of CNC experience preferred.
- Ability to operate an overhead crane and familiarity with CAD equipment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- CNC, production machine, and/or welding experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Participation in training events, such as Lockout/Tagout and HazCom.
The successful candidate will work in a production area exposed to seasonal temperatures and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
