Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced nursing educator and clinical practitioner to join our adjunct faculty team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and a proven track record of success in teaching and mentoring students. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess student learning in the classroom and clinical settings
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with national and state standards
- Collaborate with content area faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress
- Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs
- Remain current with new trends and developments in the specific field of nursing practice
- Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing or related field (BSN required for clinicals with proof of at least 9 credits or 3 classes in any graduate program)
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in Foundations/Fundamentals nursing with a BSN
- An active, current, unencumbered, and multi-state (compact) RN license
- Must successfully pass a drug test and competency testing
Location: The successful candidate will be required to travel within the Boise, Idaho area to directly observe student performance, when scheduled for clinical rotations and labs.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
