Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with the service standards set by Arrowhead General Insurance Agency.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of carrier protocols, including systems processes pertinent to underwriting responsibilities.
  • Evaluate and price accounts in accordance with specific carrier guidelines.
  • Prepare and issue quotes and binders that detail insurance coverages.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with brokers and agents to achieve production targets.
  • Facilitate workflow coordination between Underwriters and Junior Risk Assessment Specialists.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with one to three years of relevant experience in the insurance sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with policy and accounting systems, and vendor-specific software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
