Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with the service standards set by Arrowhead General Insurance Agency.
- Gain a thorough understanding of carrier protocols, including systems processes pertinent to underwriting responsibilities.
- Evaluate and price accounts in accordance with specific carrier guidelines.
- Prepare and issue quotes and binders that detail insurance coverages.
- Foster and maintain relationships with brokers and agents to achieve production targets.
- Facilitate workflow coordination between Underwriters and Junior Risk Assessment Specialists.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- A Bachelor’s degree coupled with one to three years of relevant experience in the insurance sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with policy and accounting systems, and vendor-specific software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
