Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures for diagnosis and treatment, utilizing independent judgment and initiative.
  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MRI technology, including cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in MRI technology and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Prefer experienced MRI Technologists with advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility.
  • Prefer satisfactory completion of an accredited MRI program.
  • Must have current BLS certification.
  • Prefer ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered technologist, with ability to pass advanced examination within one year of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in Radiology or MRI department, with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Candidates without MRI registration may be required to complete the Medical Imaging Consultants (MIC) MRI Cross-Trainer program, dependent on level of experience.
