About the Role

This leadership position is a key part of our team at MaineHealth Cardiology, located in Scarborough, ME. Our practice supports over 40 physicians and 30 advanced practice providers (APPs) in our mission to make our communities the healthiest in America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise 20 non-clinical positions
  • Oversight of two teams: patient service representatives and scheduling specialists
  • Leadership support and guidance across the practice
  • Occasional project work, cross-team coverage, and other responsibilities
Requirements
  • 2+ years of healthcare experience
  • Previous leadership experience required; healthcare leadership experience preferred
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High School degree preferred
  • License/Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Two or more years in hospital outpatient clinic experience. Supervisory experience preferred
  • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with staff, patients, families, providers, managers
  • Ability to resolve problems in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite applications such as Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in a customer service environment
  • Skills in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising
  • Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations
