About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Lead Structural Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Jobot. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative professional to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of structural engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance and mentoring as needed.
  • Develop and implement detailed structural designs using Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of the structural design with other project components.
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure design integrity and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Review and approve structural designs, plans, and specifications prepared by team members.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify the implementation of designs and to ensure quality control.
  • Participate in project meetings and present structural design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in structural engineering and integrate new technologies and methodologies into the design process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A master's degree in Structural Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in structural engineering, including experience in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant structural design software.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design innovative structural solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering structural engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to lead and motivate a team.
