Job Title: Detention - Transportation Officer

Join G4S, a leading security organization, as a Detention - Transportation Officer. This role involves the secure and safe transportation, guarding, and escorting of detainees from specified sites to designated points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform audits and inspections of services and personnel to ensure client contract requirements are met.
  • Supervise, lead, coordinate, and organize security guards and teams as needed.
  • Act as a liaison to personnel and departments as required.
  • Perform monitoring, surveillance, and physical security functions as defined in post orders.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings to promote physical security and safety.
  • Deter theft and damage to property.
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
  • Contribute to communication and awareness of security policies and issues.
  • Provide facility escorting functions.
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years driving experience.
  • Minimum of three years experience in law enforcement, military policing, or security officer roles related to detaining civil, administrative detainees.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
  • Attention to detail.
