Job Overview

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled individual to undertake facility technician responsibilities, offering assistance to the maintenance, production, and shipping/receiving teams. This role encompasses preventative and corrective maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across all facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily information exchange with the Maintenance Team and Management.
  • Accurately document data related to preventive maintenance schedules and alert management to any issues within their designated areas.
  • Participate in the development of project timelines, requirements, and cost assessments.
  • Collaborate with departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure that materials, scheduling, sanitation, and other needs are met effectively.
  • Comprehend and comply with personnel policies and disciplinary procedures.
  • Adhere to plant safety protocols, operational procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Maintain current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and quality benchmarks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in facility maintenance and/or construction.

Physical Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be capable of fulfilling the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, sit, and kneel for over 4 hours per shift.
  • Capacity to maintain balance for over 8 hours per shift.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for over 8 hours per shift.
  • Proficiency in climbing and working off ladders, as well as reaching above shoulder height for over 4 hours per shift.
  • Ability to work in environments with dust, high heat, or humidity for over 8 hours per shift.
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently.

Compensation:
$18.50 per hour

Work Schedule:
Sunday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Saturday
