Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform a range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
  • Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax planning strategies for corporations and high-income individuals, minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing financial returns.
  • Tax Returns: Prepare and submit income tax returns for corporations and individuals, as well as payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Compliance: Ensure all tax returns and financial statements are prepared in accordance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
  • Strong bookkeeping experience (3 years required).
  • Proficient in tax preparation and tax planning (3 years required).
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, disciplined, and courteous.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Reside within a 30-minute commute of the office.
