  • Support the preparation and review of driver bids, ensuring competitive pricing and optimal routes.
  • Supervise and provide resources for drivers on safety and technology, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage performance and administer progressive disciplinary actions as necessary, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with all company policies, including those related to safety, security, and environmental responsibility.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, coaching, and career development of drivers and administrative staff, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Review and analyze CSA scores, providing guidance and support to drivers to improve performance and reduce risk.
  • Oversee the maintenance and availability of records related to shipment documentation, freight billing, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant managerial experience (minimum of 5 years).
  • 5-8 years of transportation or logistics-related work experience required.
  • Certified Transportation Professional designation, or similar trade certifications, preferred.
