Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate medical and nursing regimens
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current and unobstructed New York State Registered Nurse license or Connecticut Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
- Other certifications may be required based on unit and location
This position requires manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. The work environment is fast-paced and requires significant occupational risk. The physical effort required is very heavy, with the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
