Job Title: VDC Engineer

JP Cullen is seeking a highly skilled VDC Engineer to join our team. As a VDC Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing BIM technologies for assigned projects from preconstruction through turnover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and integrate models for project team parties, run MEP coordination meetings, and maintain issue logs.
  • Operate laser scanners, coordinate, and model laser scanned data for integration in models.
  • Complete BIM/CAD needs of project teams, including generating 2D/3D/4D site logistics plans and utilizing models to support construction operations and planning.
  • Coordinate and solve BIM-related issues with project teams.
  • Incorporate constructability and construction means and methods into BIM models.
  • Generate 3D/4D models for business development, marketing, pre-construction, and construction teams.
Requirements:
  • Four-year engineering degree related to construction or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
