The Quality Assurance Specialist will deliver Quality Control, Quality Management Systems, and Supplier Quality assistance for the manufacturing sectors of the Switching and Fusing Business Unit.
A Day In The Life
- Monitor, Audit, and Assess Production Processes
- Develop and sustain Quality Assurance programs throughout the Production Operations
- Manage ISO Documentation and Revisions
- Oversee Calibration Systems, Tooling, and Instrumentation
- Lead and/or engage in Problem Solving and Troubleshooting activities for electro-mechanical and mechanical devices
- Participate in CAPA processes
- Lead and engage in the Internal Audit program
- Support New Product Development activities including PFMEA, DFMEA, Quality Planning, and Measurement Systems design and deployment
- Identify and resolve issues concerning Control of Nonconforming Material
What will help you thrive in this role?
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
- A minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience in Supplier Quality Control
- Capability to perform Capability and Measurement Systems Analysis
- Proven problem-solving and product investigation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong presentation skills
- Experience in drafting and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, visual aids, etc.
- Familiarity with working within an ISO registered or equivalently certified Quality Management System
- Willingness to travel up to 10%; both domestically and internationally
