Job Description

At TA Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Training and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business owners and departments to identify business needs and training priorities.
  • Support departments with framework documentation for work instructions related to clients specific documents.
  • Search for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity and professional development.
  • Research new training tools and materials that can enhance training procedures while providing value to employees.
  • Identify future training needs and create a curriculum to facilitate that training.
  • Lead programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological changes, acquisitions, and mergers.
  • Set up leadership development programs and resources.
  • Conducting orientation programs and arranging training program for new hires.
  • Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships within all positions within the company.
  • Clearly explaining how to meet training requirements necessitates outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization as well as various levels of the customer's organization.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and coach teams.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions from workstream owners.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Quality driven and results oriented.
  • Highly motivated self-starter able to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university or college; an emphasis on logistics preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training or logistics role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Learning Management Software (LMS) desired.
  • Track record of designing and executing successful training programs.
  • PC literate with expertise in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
Estimated Salary: $73,400 - $87,000 per year
