Job Title: High School Math Teacher

RVP Consultants is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for providing a superior education to students while sharing your culture and passion for mathematics.

Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Prepare and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, with the ability to modify plans accordingly during the school year.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with middle school and high school staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Utilize research-based best practices to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of all students.
  • Student Progress and Development: Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
  • Classroom Management: Manage student behavior in the classroom and create a positive learning environment.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Utilize school-approved curricula that reflects the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of students.
  • Culture and Expectations: Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
  • Family Communication: Communicate and meet with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child.
  • Technology Integration: Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
  • Non-Instructional Activities: Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities, as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of full-time related teaching experience at primary or secondary schools.
  • Coaching Environment: High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to properly manage confidential information.
  • Supervision: Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings.
  • Criminal Background Checks: Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
