Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate individual who has a deep love for infants and young children to take on the role of Full-Time Preschool Director at our Franklin Campus. This leader will play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation's faith journey and fostering a love for spiritual growth.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Preschool Director will work closely with the Central Kids Pastor and collaborate with church leadership to fulfill the core functions of the church, including worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry. This role is dedicated to guiding young children and their families towards a relationship with Christ and facilitating their spiritual development through a comprehensive Preschool Ministry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching and Discipleship

  • Develop and lead a team of volunteers to nurture and educate children from infancy to pre-kindergarten during Sunday services.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor preschool volunteers.
  • Implement and adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of the children in our ministry.
  • Collaborate with the Next Gen Pastor to empower parents in their spiritual leadership at home.

Evangelism

  • Establish a ministry that teaches foundational truths about God to young children.
  • Equip adults to guide children and families toward a relationship with Christ.
  • Plan and execute community outreach events in partnership with the Family Ministry Team.

Missions

  • Engage preschoolers and their families in local and national mission initiatives.
  • Encourage family participation in church mission programs.

Ministry

  • Provide vision and strategy for the Preschool Ministry, ensuring effective program execution.
  • Care for preschoolers and their families, addressing their personal and spiritual needs.
  • Coordinate with the Core Team to support families during significant life events.

Administration

  • Continuously recruit and train volunteers for the Preschool Ministry.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and follow up with families.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for all preschool staff.
  • Manage resources and supplies for the Preschool Ministry.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, ministry, or a related field; advanced education preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in a church-related ministry or equivalent experience working with children.
  • Spiritual: Must be a committed Christian with a passion for ministry and a member of the church community.
