SpineSearch is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at a leading hospital system's state-of-the-art facility in Manhattan, New York.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiological exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to capture high-quality images, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and examination results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly calibrated.
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient exams, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Position patients for imaging exams, taking into account their comfort and the specific requirements of the examination.
  • Monitor patients during exams, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Document information with computers, using our electronic medical records system to record patient data and examination results.
  • Report important information to the physician, providing timely and accurate updates on patient status and examination results.
  • Ensure the safety of patients during exams, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to prevent injury or harm.

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • ARRT certification, with a preference for those with advanced certifications or specialized training.
