Position Overview:

The Agile Project Coordinator is tasked with orchestrating, guiding, and overseeing Agile and Hybrid project teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Oversight:

    Establish project objectives and timelines while ensuring consistent and timely delivery of value; lead project status meetings and working sessions; generate and disseminate progress updates; identify and mitigate risks and challenges; rectify deviations from established plans; and execute delivery planning and operational readiness for designated projects.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Support for Product Owner:

    Encourage team empowerment, ensuring that each member is actively engaged in the project and contributing meaningfully, while promoting a sustainable work pace with high-quality outcomes.


Essential Duties:
  • Developing, maintaining, and monitoring project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, both internal and external.
  • Documenting and following up on critical actions and decisions made during meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for discussions.
  • Ensuring project milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Collaborating with team members to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Identifying project modifications and supporting the change control process.
  • Providing administrative assistance as required.
  • Ensuring visibility for leadership to track and communicate progress toward objectives.
  • Executing project tasks as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with the processes and procedures of the Project and Portfolio Management Office.
  • Assessing and escalating project risks and issues, providing solutions where necessary.
  • Managing stakeholder perspectives towards optimal solutions.

Required Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict management, active listening, collaboration, and team building.
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational abilities with a capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business needs, establishing and maintaining high levels of customer trust and confidence.
  • Proficient in using relevant tools such as Workfront, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging at all organizational levels.
  • Transparency in project progress, risks, and vendor performance.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in medium to large-scale project management or a similar role.
  • At least five years of robust experience in project/program planning, work plan development, and project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with public health agencies.
  • Certification in organizational change management, such as Prosci.
  • SAFe certification.
  • Financial Acumen.
