Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in behavioral health to join our multidisciplinary team at Incredible Health. As a Behavioral Health Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting initial patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Your primary focus will be on administering medications as prescribed, monitoring patient responses, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Additionally, you will facilitate group therapy sessions, educational workshops, and discharge planning activities to promote patient well-being and independence.

This role requires a deep understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols. You must also possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment
  • Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and their side effects
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
