Job Summary:
The LaSalle Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, including processing payroll, screening and interviewing candidates, conducting background checks, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll and Timekeeping: Assist with processing payroll and checking timecards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Candidate Sourcing and Interviewing: Screen, source, and interview candidates to find the best fit for the company.
- Background Checks and Onboarding: Conduct background checks and onboard new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits onboarding and reconciliation to ensure employees receive the benefits they deserve.
- HR Reporting and Compliance: Provide clerical support and prepare HR reports to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in recruitment and HR.
- Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, experience with HRIS and ATS systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).
