Job Summary

Sterling Engineering Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Equipment Installation: Install new equipment and modify existing systems to meet changing production needs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning within specifications and make adjustments as needed.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with other maintenance team members to develop and implement best practices and training programs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational-tech program or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Physical Demands: This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and materials.
