Key Responsibilities:

Budget Oversight:
Create and uphold detailed budgets for capital and operational projects, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic objectives. Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates and variance analyses to relevant stakeholders.

Financial Report Analysis:
Perform comprehensive analyses of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks, offering recommendations to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

Cost Accounting for Manufacturing:
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee the precise and timely recording of manufacturing costs. Analyze cost data, pinpointing areas for optimization and process enhancements. Develop and implement cost accounting systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulations, providing insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Forecasting and Budget Development:

Assist in crafting annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating closely with department heads to gather pertinent data and assumptions.

Track budget performance and provide regular updates and recommendations for necessary adjustments.

Financial Modeling:
Construct and maintain sophisticated financial models to aid in business planning, investment analysis, and scenario evaluations. Conduct sensitivity analyses and offer insights on potential outcomes and associated risks.

Process Improvement:
Identify avenues for process enhancement and automation within the finance department. Streamline financial processes, improve data accuracy, and implement best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. An MBA or CFA designation is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or similar roles within the finance sector.
  • Strong expertise in capital and operational budget management, financial reporting, and manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex financial reports and data, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including financial modeling and data manipulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and software, such as ERP systems and financial planning tools, is preferred.
