Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries, orders, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Update and maintain customer accounts in our ERP database, ensuring accuracy and compliance with department procedures.
- Collect and verify customer information, including credit references, to facilitate accurate account management.
- Proactively follow up on customer quotations and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, customer requirements, and company procedures to provide informed and effective customer support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their confidence in our company, products, and personnel.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with a minimum of 1-3 years of related customer service experience and/or training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to customer inquiries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions based on precedent and company policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards software, with experience in a related field a plus.
