Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mold Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for disassembling and assembling refurbished and new moulds, performing cleaning and inspection tasks, and ensuring the highest level of quality and precision in your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and assemble moulds, ensuring accurate and precise assembly
  • Perform cleaning and inspection tasks on mould plates and components, including visual inspection and dimensional reporting
  • Inspect and report findings on hot runner systems, including electrical schematics and hot runner controllers
  • Review BOMs, 2D drawings, and specification sheets to locate and verify parts for assembly
  • Operate pneumatic air tools, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators with precision and accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with the team in a high-precision environment
  • Use hoist/crane and fork truck to move parts, materials, and mould assemblies
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning up assigned work area
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a machine shop/manufacturing environment assembling tight tolerance parts
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to work with precision and accuracy
  • Results-oriented, quick learner, and able to respond to urgent needs of the team
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
