Admissions Consultant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Consultant to join our team. This full-time role involves providing exceptional guidance and support to prospective students navigating the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary advisor for prospective students, offering insights on admissions criteria, academic qualifications, program selections, and alternative educational pathways.
• Coordinate and implement recruitment and retention initiatives, both in-person and online, ensuring effective marketing strategies to engage targeted audiences.
• Represent the institution at various recruitment events, conferences, and fairs to enhance student engagement and recruitment efforts.
• Utilize recruitment software to manage communications and track the effectiveness of outreach strategies.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans aimed at expanding program offerings and enhancing student recruitment.
• Facilitate informational sessions to promote advanced educational opportunities in health professions.
• Organize events that foster connections with the community and prospective students, aligning with the institution's mission.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the admissions team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in student recruitment, advising, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• Prior experience in admissions counseling or similar roles within higher education.
• Event planning and management experience.
• Familiarity with student information systems.
