This role involves spearheading the creation and integration of electro-mechanical systems, ensuring seamless operation of mechanical and electrical components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing electro-mechanical systems, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in laboratory equipment or similar industries. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation in line with regulatory and industry standards, mentoring and guiding a team of engineers and technicians, and conducting feasibility studies, performance analysis, and testing to refine design concepts for optimal reliability and manufacturability. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. They will also have proficiency in CAD software, familiarity with simulation tools, and experience with designing electronic schematics and PCB layouts. Additionally, they will have a solid background in robotics, automated controls, and industrial automation, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
