Telecommute Medical Biller

Role Overview
As a Telecommute Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist with Jobot, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle processes specific to infusion services. This includes overseeing billing, coding, and collections processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and payer requirements. With a strong focus on process improvements and operational efficiency, this role involves leading teams in achieving turn-around time, clean claim rates, cash collections, aging, and denial management goals.

Responsibilities
• Perform all functions related to the revenue cycle, including billing, insurance follow-up, government and non-government, hospital and physician, denials management, underpayments/zero payments, and other revenue cycle functions
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate charge capture and proper documentation for infusion services
• Build patient profiles and upload medical records into the system
• Communicate with insurance payers to resolve any coverage discrepancies and ensure smooth claims processing
• Assist team members in complex billing and coding issues, providing guidance and resolution

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need 2+ years of revenue cycle experience, including healthcare transactions such as billing, insurance follow-up, government and non-government, hospital and physician, denials management, underpayments/zero payments, and other revenue cycle functions. Additionally, 1+ year of medical billing experience is necessary. What We Offer
