Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team at bioMerieux Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues related to manual and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment, using judgment to repair or correct problems.
  • Provide emergency support to repair production equipment and maintain production lines.
  • Build and install new or repaired parts or equipment according to blueprints, specifications, and SOPs.
  • Perform some simple automation tasks related to hardware.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in a scientific/technical discipline preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a directly related field/role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced cGMP environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues/equipment.
  • Ability to perform hands-on repairs using a variety of hand tools.
  • Must be able to interpret and follow blueprints, WIDs, etc.
