Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

At BioMerieux, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of moderately-complex mechanical and electrical issues related to manual and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of BioFire Diagnostics' Quality System.
  • Perform moderately-complex repairs involving manual to semi-automated manufacturing and/or packaging equipment.
  • Perform basic routine preventative and scheduled maintenance on manual to semi-automated production equipment.
  • Provide emergency support to repair production equipment in order to keep production lines operational at all times.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities to identify issues with equipment and use judgment to repair or correct those issues.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in a scientific/technical discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a directly related field/role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience required for Level II and 5 years for Level III.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced cGMP environment is strongly preferred.
