About the Job:
Plasser American Corp is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Designer to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery used in the railway industry. This includes applying knowledge of engineering principles to design products used on maintenance of way equipment for the railroad industry.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, and 1-2 years of experience in the field of heavy equipment machinery design. You will be required to work with other design engineers to identify areas of the design that need to be altered or improved, and to confer with research and other engineering personnel to prepare design modifications as required.

This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 80 hours of paid time off during your first year of employment, 10 paid holidays per year, and a 401(k) match of $0.50 for every $1.00 you contribute up to 6% of your salary.
