Job Description

The Occupational Therapist provides direct and consultative services for children with developmental, sensory, and motor disorders.

Duties include:

  • Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and ongoing progress reports
  • Planning and developing evidence-based interventions to promote independence in daily activities
  • Providing center-based and direct and indirect occupational therapy
  • Planning and facilitating groups targeting motor skills, sensory integration, and social participation
  • Completing clinical documentation for ongoing treatment planning and insurance billing
  • Providing consultation and coaching to Behavior Technicians and other team members
  • Communicating with parents and other team members
  • Collaborating regularly with BCBAs and SLPs
  • Providing parent and staff training on strategies to promote independence and participation in daily activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
  • A valid MA Occupational Therapy license
  • An interest in working within a collaborative ABA model
  • Experience working with children with ASD preferred
  • The ability to occasionally lift children, materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with varying hours each day
Compensation and Benefits

This position is expected to offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits may include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
