Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all necessary facilities, technical documentation, tools, materials, and training are available before commencing inspection duties.
- Stay updated with the latest inspection techniques and publications essential for effective inspections.
- Be well-versed in all inspection methodologies, techniques, and equipment pertinent to the assigned responsibilities.
- Guarantee that all inspections are conducted in accordance with the relevant technical documentation and quality control standards.
- Ensure compliance with all Quality Processes and Procedures as outlined in the applicable manuals.
- Assist in conducting internal audits across various departments.
- Perform inspections at various stages including incoming, preliminary, hidden damage, in-progress, final inspections, and release for service of components undergoing maintenance.
- Complete work orders and issue certifications for the return to service of aircraft components as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field with a technical degree or Airframe Certification.
- Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), and Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprint drawings.
- Preferred certification as an Airframe and Powerplant (A/P) technician.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate various solutions and approaches to challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, sitting, standing, walking, crawling, and working in confined spaces.
- Occasional lifting of lightweight materials up to 50 lbs, as well as pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder level.
