Overview

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system that has emerged as a beacon of workplace excellence. Our innovative cardiovascular program is looking for a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to join our team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, which features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. You will be part of a collaborative team working with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and provide patient care. They will establish and maintain a sterile environment, serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. They will also use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing other delegated tasks.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must be a graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program. One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred, but not required. You must be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS. Basic Life Support training is required, and Advanced Life Support certification must be achieved within six months of hire.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience
