Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dealer Operations Manager to join our team at Fortiss LLC / Parkwest Casinos. As a key member of our gaming operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and management of Dealer Coordinators and Dealers, ensuring smooth casino operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage Dealer Coordinators, Prop Players, and assigned Dealers to ensure efficient and effective gaming operations.
  • Direct the work of assigned staff to ensure that gaming operations are run in a manner that exemplifies our core values, meets established quality standards, and is in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, resolving complaints, and ensuring that customer service standards are met.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including shift reports, time off, sick reports, overtime logs, and other reports as deemed necessary.
  • Hire, manage, and develop assigned team members, using resources in a respectful and fiscally responsible manner.
  • Administer disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner, ensuring that team members have the proper tools and training to effectively and safely perform their jobs.
  • Plan and facilitate training programs to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Provide information and updates to dealers on changes in policy, new promotions, and important events.
  • Monitor and verify Dealer tip contribution forms for correct amounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Must be able to pass mandatory screening, including a background and credit check, and drug test.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit/badge and Key Employee License issued by the California Gambling Control Commission.
  • Must possess a detailed knowledge of all games operated at the casino.
  • Skilled problem solver with excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to command the respect of team members.
  • Knowledge and experience of best practices, laws, and regulations specific to the gaming industry.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret procedures, professional journals, and government regulations.
  • Able to write concise reports and business correspondence.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, or upper management.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management, hospitality services, business administration, or other field related to gaming.
  • At least three years' experience in the gaming industry on a casino floor or equivalent experience.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend at neck for 6 or more hours a day.
  • Position will require repetitive use of hands for simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Position may require exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, and extremes in temperature, humidity, or wetness.
