We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient-Centered Psychiatrist to join our team at Huntingdon Behavioral Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout Florida.
- Differentiate psychiatric presentations of medical conditions from psychiatric disorders and arrange appropriate evaluation and follow-up.
- Collaborate with assigned PMHNP's in assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans.
- Clinical Psychiatrist (MD, DO) with current, unencumbered Florida licensure.
- Proficient in evidence-based treatments (i.e. CBT, ACT, and DBT).
- Proficient computer and technology skills.
- Ability to travel site to site and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish therapeutic alliances and rapport with diverse patient populations.
