Psychiatrist - Outpatient Specialist

Optum, a clinician-led care organization, is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our team in Orlando, FL.
About the RoleAs a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical services to patients in the form of psychosocial assessments, individual, family, and group treatment
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management
- Collaborate as a member of multi-disciplinary integrated team for the development and delivery of treatment plans
- Foster excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers
- Opportunities to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures
- Participate in enriching the training experience of our graduate students
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Clear and active Psychiatrist License (MD/DO) in state of practice
- Board-eligible or board-certified in state of practice
- Ability to obtain the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration or ability to obtain if working under an MD
- Ability to commute to the location at least 3 days each week
- 2+ years of Behavioral Health experience in an outpatient clinical setting
- Knowledge of TMS
- Knowledge of Magventure chair (if applicable)
- Knowledge of Spravato (if applicable)
- Expertise in treating children, adolescents, and families
- Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
