About the Role

Foster Care Caseworker Supervisor Needed at FCS, Inc.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foster Care Caseworker Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct oversight and supervision of casework services to children and families involved with the foster care system and their foster families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate services and communicate effectively with other treatment team members and external individuals and agencies.
  • Address issues as they arise and assist in emergencies or staff shortages.
  • Complete regular requirements and schedule.
  • Supervise and support caseworkers in their daily activities.
  • Develop and implement effective case plans to meet the needs of children and families.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • LCPC or LCSW preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred and experience or other training preparing an individual to work with families and youth involved with DCFS.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize and execute responsibilities in an independent manner.
  • Ability to physically transport self and clients to various locations.
  • Physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job-related issues and stress.
