Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Engineer I to join our team at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for preparing geotechnical reports, managing construction materials testing projects, and providing technical solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations, to meet project deadlines.
  • Manage construction materials testing projects, including daily report review and issue resolution.
  • Prepare geotechnical and construction materials testing proposals, manage project budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices.
  • Host or attend project meetings with clients to follow up on delivered reports and provide technical solutions as necessary.
  • Assist with or perform tasks such as preparing drilling packages, obtaining utility clearances, performing research on local geologic history, supervising field work, classifying soil, and mentoring staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
  • 2 years of related experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred.
  • A professional license is required in each state where you work.
  • A valid driver's license is required if driving for ECS.
