Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Improvement Specialist to join our team at Daikin. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing principles, improving product quality, and reducing costs.

About the Role:

This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processes
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Support DOE, 8D, FMEA, 6 Sigma, and DFP analysis and implementation of Kaizen activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
