As a specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing machine set-up reduction projects and lean improvements to support shop production.
  • Managing machine/welding/assembly/pressure test tooling standardization initiatives.
  • Liaising with Product Quality Specialists on non-conformance tracking and resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You will also have the opportunity to learn about:

  • Streamlining material staging and set-ups for production jobs.
  • Machining and Welding principles.
  • Pressure Testing process.
  • Routing and process planning with work methods.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Location and Salary

The salary for this position is estimated at $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This role is based in Houston, TX, and requires legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
