Job Title: Behavioral Health Counselor

Hope House, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide substance abuse treatment services to adolescents, adults, and families.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload and provide individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct intakes and assessments, and make appropriate treatment recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral sources and collaterals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per OASAS standards.
  • Ensure client confidentiality and adhere to current agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • QHP or CASAC-T certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in substance abuse counseling and experience with multiple age groups and various treatment modalities required.
