At Mitchell Martin, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and filing complex tax returns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Compile supporting financial statements and documents, reviewing and preparing bookkeeping services as needed.
  • Assist with federal and state tax audits, responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies.
  • Perform tax research, staying up-to-date on changes and developments in tax laws and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or CPA license a plus.
  • At least 3 years of professional tax preparation experience.
  • Experience with bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work well in a team setting.
