Job Title: Delivery Driver

At LKQ, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering replacement parts to customers in the aftermarket collision repair industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to deliver products to customers.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, verifying the condition of the truck, manifest, and other paperwork associated with deliveries.
  • Drive to delivery destinations, confirm orders with customers, unload and verify products, obtain confirmation signatures and payments.
  • Make proper notations on manifests and provide receipts for parts returned from customers.
  • Pick up buy-out purchase orders from vendors and deliver parts back to the branch or customer.
  • Collect accounts receivable as necessary.
  • Work in a manner that prevents shortages and damage to products.
  • Comply with established Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of six months driving and warehouse operations experience.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Knowledge of replacement parts for the aftermarket collision repair industry desired.
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with Company warehouse and delivery methods, techniques, and procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.
