Job Description

The Mother Goose Family Daycare Center is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support our teaching staff in creating a nurturing environment for young children. As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing developmentally appropriate activities, encouraging participation, and fostering positive relationships with children and their parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing curricula activities that promote children's interests and learning.
  • Engage in activities with children, maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, and ensure the availability of necessary materials.
  • Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates and progress reports.
  • Model self-help and good hygiene practices, and support children in developing these skills.
  • Contribute to a smooth transition from home to child care center, ensuring a seamless daily routine.
  • Adhere to all center policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and contribute to the center's continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
  • High energy and a passion for working with young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using educational software.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Clear background check and passing health screening.
