The ideal candidate will possess a strong retail managerial background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to leverage resources to achieve business objectives. You will work closely with the District Manager to ensure the success of the organization and contribute to the development of a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Talent Development:
- Assist with candidate interviews and support the development of the store support team
- Identify talent skill gaps and opportunities, and partner with the Store Manager to make effective hiring decisions
- Inspire and motivate team members to exhibit core value behaviors
- Recognize and celebrate individual and team achievements
- Operations:
- Partner with the District Manager to execute company strategies and drive results
- Provide training and guidance to the sales team on in-store operating procedures
- Hold teams and individuals accountable to timelines, deadlines, and compliance standards
- Growth:
- Drive results and maximize business opportunities within your scope of responsibility
- Train and coach selling behaviors to ensure an engaging customer experience
- Effectively manage your schedule and drive profitability
- Merchandising:
- Ensure proper execution of visual and marketing initiatives in assigned stores
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on product or merchandising wins and opportunities
- Ability to work the required schedule
- Ensure all associates adhere to the company's Dress Code Guidelines
- Adhere to federal, state, and local labor laws
- Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned
