Job Title: Senior RF Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Design Engineer to join our Wireless Hardware R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and handling activities for specific products or groups of products from product definition and planning through production and release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and develop new products, support existing products, and improve processes, specifically related to RF and communication design.
  • Lead RF circuit design from concept to production for low-cost wireless communications product-line – complete radio transceiver design and layout including RF PA, LNA, RF filters, and matching, synthesizers, VCOs, and mixers.
  • Conduct RF circuit measurements using laboratory spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.
  • Verify that designs meet requirements through analysis, simulation, and measurement. Compare results to theory and document results. Carry out field studies and system test activities.
  • Provide design and project support in the areas of project leadership, regulation, reliability, and component selection. Provide technical support to factory, service, and other internal departments. Coordinate and verify the work of support staff (technicians and CAD designers).

Requirements:

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years of related industrial experience. Must have in-depth understanding of electronic circuits, RF circuits, and microwave theory.
  • Must have a good understanding of RF systems and wireless communication systems.

Nice to Have:

  • Experienced with FCC certification. Experienced with advanced modeling and simulation. Experienced with communication theory and digital signal processing is a plus.
