Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Multi Tech with BXMO License to join our team at MD Now. As a key member of our urgent care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections with precision and care.
  • Perform x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders, updating patient charts accurately and efficiently.
  • Collect patient history and document Electronic Health Records (EHRs) with attention to detail.
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes, auditing charts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to external labs.
  • Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress, providing clear and concise information.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience using an EHR system is beneficial, but not required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a graduate degree in Medical Assisting or a related field preferred.
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO / BMO) license is required in the state of residency.
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
  • Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start, with Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification obtained within 3 months of employment.
