Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant with X-ray Certification to join our team at MD Now. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, and perform EKGs as needed.
  • Operate x-ray equipment and perform imaging services according to provider orders.
  • Collect patient history and document Electronic Health Records (EHRs) accurately.
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as required.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out processes, including auditing charts.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work and lab results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and visitors regarding clinic progress.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is beneficial.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program is required.
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO / BMO) license is required in the state of residency.
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
