Mistras Group, Inc. is looking for a Junior NDT Technician to join our team.

The Junior NDT Technician will support the Level II X-ray Technicians in executing designated non-destructive testing activities while acquiring valuable experience and knowledge in the field.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the setup and dismantling of testing equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, preventive measures, and calibration of equipment and facilities.
  • Help ensure accurate documentation and reporting of services rendered.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Capability to handle various tasks and respond to last-minute work assignments, which may involve occasional travel.
  • Effective communication skills with clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Proven adaptability to a dynamic work schedule.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to shop environments with high noise levels from production machinery.
  • Must be able to wear required safety equipment for personal protection.
  • May need to travel to multiple job sites daily and adapt to varying weather conditions.
  • Periodic out-of-town travel may be required.
Essential Physical Functions:
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry items weighing 30-50 pounds.
  • Clear speech and hearing capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, to communicate effectively.
