Job Summary

This is a part-time adjunct faculty position in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching adult learners in the areas of logistics, supply chain management, biotechnology, and advanced manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver non-credit curriculum in logistics, manufacturing technology, or biotechnology systems and maintenance.
  • Industry Partnerships: Participate in training for industry certifications and develop cooperative relationships within the Workforce Development program.
  • Instructional Methods: Utilize technology in teaching methods and connect learning outcomes to instruction and assessment.
  • Program Management: Maintain program records, offer recommendations for improvement, and assist in curriculum development.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in Workforce Development team meetings and adhere to all relevant policies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: 5 years of industry experience or a related degree.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Industry certifications, experience with manufacturing technologies, teaching/training experience with adult learners, strong communication skills, knowledge of learning management systems, experience in higher education, and ability to work independently.
